These lamps run on a UVC wavelength (peaking at 253.7nm). We’ve focused heavily on energy-saving ballasts because nobody wants a massive electricity bill just to keep things sterile. But here’s the thing: you have to get the timing right. These aren’t your average light bulbs; they’re built for the grind of a factory. You’ll need to match the lamp wattage to how fast your conveyor is moving. If the fabric flies by too quickly, the germs survive. If it crawls, you might actually start damaging the fabric. It’s all about finding that sweet spot.

We use high-transmittance quartz glass to make sure you get every bit of UVC power possible. And because we know how frustrating downtime is, we made these incredibly easy to swap out. You can put them in your spinning room’s air filters or mount them in finishing tunnels. We also ditched those flimsy connectors that snap the moment a machine starts vibrating. Instead, we use industrial-grade pins that can take a real beating.
Real-World Use (and what to watch out for)
You’ve got options here. You can wire them into your HVAC to scrub the air, or put them right over the packing line so the garment is clean the second it hits the box. Just a heads-up, though. UVC is powerful stuff. If you’re working with synthetic polymers—especially PET-based fibers—too much exposure can make the material turn yellow or get brittle. **Keep an eye on your exposure times.**You want the germs gone, but you don’t want to ruin the fabric in the process.
